We Live in a Dystopia? (The Truman Show)

Writing a blog post everyday has been rewarding. Every night I sit on my couch with the page open, watching the cursor blink until a kernel of idea pops in my head. And then I start writing. Having such a creative outlet is important, and a website is the best way to do this...which is why am excited about the sponsor of this blog post - Squarespace. Use the code Blahblah for x% off...

Right? It is everywhere and you can't escape it. They are tracking everything you do and it is almost impossible to avert your eyes from the barrage of ads. Which is where the sponsor for today comes in, NordVPN....

Okay, okay I'll cut it out. I rewatched The Truman Show today and was amazed at how it eerily captures the current state of our world. In fact, I'm convinced that some product owners were taking notes for their product roadmap meetings while watching this movie. One of the key themes of the movie was about choice. spoilers Truman leaves the perfect, walled garden of the studio into an unforgiving world. But this is okay because it was his choice. A close analogy is between free apps that make money by selling your data vs the paid apps that take money directly from you while maintaining privacy... which is why am excited to have my blog hosted at Bear... :)
